Hello,
I have to set up an Experimental Plan of the mixing plan type and for that I have 2 constraints to consider to build this plan.
1) I have 6 parameters to study, and for that, here are the constraints to consider:
X1 + X2 + X3 + X4 <25
X5 + X6 <10
X1 + X2 + X3 + X4 + X5 + X6 <30
Knowing that the ranges of the variables to be studied are:
X1: 2.0 - 5.5
X2: 5.0 - 10.5
X3: 3.0 - 8.0
X4: 4.5 - 9.0
X5: 2.7 - 8.7
X6: 2.7 - 8.7
2) I must also take into account in my experimental design, an experiment which has already been carried out because each test is very expensive. Here are the conditions:
X1: 3
X2: 6.5
X3: ...
Is it possible to do this under JMP? If so, what is the process?
Thanking you in advance for your return,
Regards,
Sebastian
First, create a data table of the experiment that was already conducted. Then, go to DOE > Augment Design. Click the Augment button. Enter the ranges you wish to study. Enter the Linear Constraints of your system. Enter the model you wish to estimate.
You should look at the DOE Guide that is part of the JMP Documentation to help you learn to use these features.
