Nice job @HydeMiller (and @andyzhou )! Very valuable stuff. I'll share with my team.
I have a question. Not sure which of you to ask, so I'll ask you both.
A client of mine wanted to know who (from his company) had registered for STIPS. I downloaded STIPS data, and found that there were 11 names on that list. I let the client know, and he was surprised at the low number. In fact, he himself had registered for STIPS, but his name didn't show up on the list. He is aware of a few others that also registered, but were not detected.
So it seems like some data is missing from the database. Any idea why this is the case?
@JerryFish , from my understanding, our privacy policy prohibits us from giving information about others within a company such as who completed a course, who are the Community members, etc. The number of users may be fine but I have my doubts about anything beyond that.
@Anonymous, would you please verify, what/if any, type of information can be given to a customer when requests such as these are made? Now that we have a central repository for data it would be helpful to know what information can be shared (at least for me). Thanks.

7/18/23 update (changes since 1/18/23).
- New report for 5-year revenue based on multi-year concatenation of sales credits.
- New report for trends in userCounts based on multi-year concatenation of GIDB snapshots.
- New report for Corporate Subscriptions using data from Magellan.
- New Pipeline report. This report has 17 different elements and a table of contents to help you navigate through it.
- New faster method using preprocessed data files.
- New feature for SE Demo summary file and export (see video below).

1/18/23 update.
For international and multinational territories, there is a new feature to summarize monetary values in a selected currency. The preferred currency setting will be remembered in the preference file.
For teams with focus on TSR, revenue can be summarized by TSR or NSR (NSR is default).
Metrics can be summarized
1) over an interval (select the number of months)
2) by Year and Quarter. These charts are crammed so be sure to use the local data filter to select one or a few territories.
3) Revenue models can be generated for Revenue or Percent of Target. Also, revenue can be totaled for the interval or year-to-date.

12/15/22 update.
Data table buttons have been added to all reports. With these you have the choice to show the entire table or show a subsetted table based on selections made in the reports.
The underlying tables have hyperlinks in many columns. The hyperlinks may direct to SalesForce, Dun and Bradstreet, Atlas or Google, depending on the column. Use the table buttons noted above to access these hyperlinks.
The Metrics feature of the add-in has been significantly enhanced. "Region" has been added to the data filter to make it easy to compare metrics across a region. The predictive modeling section has been broken into 3 exercises, Americas, Asia and Europe. The resulting models are much more informative and I've added Predictor Screening and Model Screening with the new JMP 17 Profiler. There is also a custom model exercise feature where you can build models using a custom list of territories.

6/22/22 update.
There is good news and bad news with the Territory Review add-in. First the bad news. Individual names and email addresses have been removed from the files on the data depot. This was done for the sake of GDPR compliance (data privacy). Previously, you could drill down to a list of contacts but this is no longer possible.
The good news is two new features were added
- Technical Support Track summary
- NSR summary
This is "under the hood" but now the add-in is split into two sections. Most of the code resides in a file that is read off Sharepoint when the add-in is instantiated. This means the add-in can be updated by changing the file on Sharepoint. After installing this version, it will no longer be necessary to reinstall the add-in every time updates are available.

=========================================================================
4/14/22 update.
Added report for Non-Standard License Agreements (request from IS).
Added report for upcoming renewals (request from IS).
Add multiple response feature to regions (a territory can be in multiple regions).
Added region for Americas (in the XREF file but needed multiple response for this to work) (request from Maria Jose).
Added hover label for GIDB reports (provides selected fields from the table).

=========================================================================
3/21/22 Update. Added buttons for territory assignments (SE, AE and IS).

=========================================================================
3/10/22 Update. Added option for number of quarters to retrieve. This improves response time, especially for the Academic team. Moved the territory lists outside the add-in to a cross-reference file. This is more flexible as territories are added and re-organized into regions. The cross reference can be changed without requiring a new add-in load. Also moved the custom email lists (personal and academic) outside the add-in for the same reason. Bug fix for automatically selecting the 8 most recent quarters.

=========================================================================
2/23/22 Update. Bug fix for named campaigns. Fixed some local filter settings where min and max were both specified but only one was intended. Also fixed an issue where "2021" was hard coded and fixed this to use the current year. For "Academic" territories, the default email filter is "Academic" and "Business". Removed two layer graphlets so the first level drill-down always produces a tabulated list. Fixed some local data filter issues where "email type" was either missing or not pre-selected.
=========================================================================
1/31/22 Update. The name of the currency conversion table changed in the data depot. The old name was currencydim.jmp and now they are called 2021 currencydim.jmp and 2022 currencydim.jmp. The add-in converts all opportunities to $US and needs the currency conversion tables to do this. Some territories support more than one currency and this allows a level comparison across all the opportunities. Let me know if the preference is to leave the opportunities in the local currency. In any case, the add-in had to be updated to find the table with the new name.
Another issue was caused by the 1/1/22 JMP LLC change. The OneDrive synching was changed and the local location of the data depot has moved (at least on Windows, not sure about MAC). The synch location used to be in a group called "SAS". Now the synch folder is in the normal OneDrive group. This means you will have to use the "Select Directory" button in the add-in to point to the new location. By the way, the old location is still there, it's just not synching so the data isn't fresh.

Here is an addin that is intended to be used to assist with territory reviews. It can be used to answer questions such as
- Are there a large number of leads coming from a company that is
"under the radar"? Leads come in one at a time from a variety of
lead sources and it can be hard to put the total number of them
in perspective.
- Same question about campaign members.
- What industries have a lot of new leads and/or campaign members? When
planning a marketing event such as JESS, what market segments should be
selected?
- What campaign events bring in the largest number of leads and/or a large
variety of leads? This is helpful for what we should do more of.
- Are there hidden JMP users in the territory, perhaps out of compliance?
This can be seen by a large amount of interest and activity but no historical
splits or sales.
- If I want to reach out to contacts from a certain industry, a list of emails
would be helpful.
- What's my opportunity conversion rate and how is it trending? This could be
a sign of economic conditions in the territory.
- Which industries have the largest number of accounts? This can be useful for
planning marketing events.
- Which accounts have the largest number of JMP users? This can be useful for
planning JMP Days.
- What is the trend in STIPS enrollment and which companies have multiple
enrollments?
- What is the trend for NSR, Renewals and Upgrades? Who are the non-renewals?
- What is the trend for SE Demos? Which companies are getting the most SE attention?
Are there others that should get more attention?
- Which companies are doing the most trial downloads?
- Finding Champions, which individuals are showing a high level of interest in JMP?
- Reconnecting, find customers that got some attention a year ago but nothing since then.
- Hot leads, find leads that did two things in a short period of time: 1) participated in an event, 2) downloaded a trial copy of JMP.
The add-in uses data from the Data Depot (also called Strategic Initiatives & Analytics). The Data Depot is a collection of directories and files (mostly JMP data tables) that are generated by daily extracts from SalesForce, GIDB, the user community, Google click traces on jmp.com and other sources.
Here is a link to the Data Depot: Link to the Data Depot
The first time you try to access the data depot, you may have to ask for permission. After that has been granted, the Data Depot will look something like the screen capture shown below.

You must synch to this directory before JMP can access the data using the addin. To do this, click on the "Sync" link in the menu bar. This will create a directory on your computer that will sync to the files. You can find this directory using File Explorer (or Finder). The screen capture below shows what this looks like on my computer.

The first time you run the addin, you will have to tell JMP where these files are located. After doing this one time, the addin will remember the path so you only need to do this once.
For more information, please see the fol1owing videos:
- The first video shows how to find the Data Depot and synchronize files on your local machine. This may be all you need if you just want access to the files.
- The second video shows how the add-in can be used during territory reviews. The add-in can also be useful for pulling data from the data depot because it subsets the tables and adds columns that can be helpful.
- The third video covers other features in the add-in. These include generating reports by regions (aggregating multiple territories), finding results by string match, and generating metrics by territory. There are results using predictive models on the territory metrics that you might find interesting.
There is also a companion file called Guide to Territory Reviews. This illustrates how to do many different tasks in support of territory reviews.
