As the old adage says, “you only get one chance to make a first impression.”
With that in mind, we are very excited to announce the rollout of a new jmp.com homepage (launching initially in the US and Canada)!
The new design features our primary industry focus areas and analytics capabilities. The new design features our primary industry focus areas and analytics capabilities.Several teams have been collaborating to design and deliver a fresh, condensed look that more accurately represents who we are, who we serve and why one would want to learn more about us. Highlights of the new design include:
- A large, beautiful static callout to download the trial
- Customer validation from respected global brands
- Much greater visibility for our primary industry focus areas
- A comprehensive breakdown of JMP’s capabilities as outlined in the new analytic workflow
- The key benefits of investing in our software
Given that first-time visitors represent over 75% of the visits to our homepage, we believe the redesign will enable us to surface the highest value content to the largest set of visitors.
Our goal is to publish the new homepage globally by kickoff in January. To facilitate this, we are working on translations of the text as well as developing additional options for the top image. In the meantime, we will be carefully monitoring performance of the new page in the US and Canada.
The next project intended to improve the user experience, now in progress, focuses on the top navigation tabs. In addition to simplifying our menus, we plan to make it easier for visitors to find the information previously promoted in the homepage sliders and feature boxes (both of which currently receive a miniscule number of clicks).
We want people to try JMP. This callout will prompt visitors to download the free trial. We want people to try JMP.
