JMP Is Becoming a SAS Subsidiary
John Sall presents at Division Update."I’m excited to announce that, after more than 30 years as a business unit of SAS, JMP will become a wholly owned subsidiary of SAS on Jan. 1, 2022," John Sall wrote in a note to all staff. "Now is the time for JMP to solidify its position as a leader in analytic software for engineers and scientists.
"JMP has been a growing and successful business for some time, seeing an average of 13% growth year-over-year in the last 15 years. With this track record, JMP has every reason to expect continued growth and profitability."

Watch the video.When a key customer asked, the Premier Team, Customer Care and Global Technical Enablement delivered. After a successful JMP Day, Apple requested recorded demos on JMP 16 capabilities so that they could review the concepts and follow along.
Due to privacy concerns about recording meetings, the team had to get creative. They envisioned an approach much like the one used at Discovery Summit: Play a short video during a virtual session and engage the viewers in Q&A afterwards. They also hosted two live customer sessions – held at different times for people in the US, Europe and Asia – both of which were successful. And the recorded videos have gotten more than 200 views with limited promotion.

New Company Confidential story: Rolls-Royce
After learning that Rolls-Royce’s Engine Health Monitoring group had used JMP to develop an improvement that saved the company £1 million a year, the company's Chief of Manufacturing Engineering Systems licensed JMP in its Advanced Blade Casting Facility. In just 9 months, a single engineer used the tool to develop solutions for 15 unique manufacturing challenges.
