Steering Committee Assignments and Paper IntroductionsThank you for meeting today on the pre-conference steering committee call. We appreciate all that you do and look forward to next week's conference. Attached are your steering committee assignments and the paper introductions. Please let me know if you have any questions. When the paper presentation that you host is complete, please remind attendees to:
1. Evaluate the session
2. Attend more paper presentations
3. Visit both Meet the Experts and Birds of a Feather rooms
4. Attend other Discovery Expo events and evening socials for that day
Thank you!
Re: Steering Committee Assignments and Paper IntroductionsThanks to one of our writers, here are Session Wrap Up Notes. I've also attached this document.
Session Wrap-Up Notes
To be used à la carte – choose the notes that make the most sense for the paper and timeslot you’re hosting.
- Remind people to rate the session. This helps us select the winners of the paper and poster awards and improve future conferences.
- Check out the Discovery Expo – You can meet JMP developers, network with fellow attendees in a Birds-of-a-Feather session, talk to tech support, browse books and more.
- Many more breakout sessions to come today – we hope you’ll attend as many as possible.
- (TUESDAY ONLY) At 5 pm ET today, we’ll hear from poster presenters and have a chance to socialize with each other.
- (WEDNESDAY ONLY) At 5 pm ET today, we’re going to have a little (ok, a lot!) of fun during the Quiz Bowl and Social Hour.
- (THURSDAY ONLY) At 5 pm ET today, we have our final social hour. The topic? Everyday DOE. Come find out how people are using design of experiments for personal passion projects.
- Throughout the week you’ll find some special sessions – everything from yoga to cycling to updating your professional headshot. Take advantage of these unique opportunities!
- Come one, come all. Getting Started with JMP is for anyone new to JMP or in need of a refresher. Sessions are on the agenda first thing each day.
- This one is important! Don’t forget that the presentations are available in the JMP User Community (and will be for a long time). We encourage you to review your favorite talks and visit the ones you missed. community.jmp.com/summit
- I’m sure we’ll all learn something new today. Don’t keep it to yourself. Share it on social media using the hashtag #JMPDiscoverySummit
