Welcome to the JMP Development Update for September 10, 2021!
We are nearing the date for JMP 17 EA3, planned to be built to match the evening build of October 1. Thank you for continuing to update your feature pages with details for our early adopters! It seems like they will have plenty of new items to test when it’s time to release EA3.
We have a few upcoming JMP dev meetings already scheduled for before and just after Discovery. I am not planning to schedule a dev demo for the week of Discovery (October 7). However, if you would like to present on a new JMP 17 feature later in October or in November or December, please send me a note and we’ll look at available dates for a presentation.
Thanks very much to Ernest Pasour for presenting at yesterday’s JMP Dev meeting. Ernest showed off Table Shaper, an interactive tool that lets you create a multi-step data cleanup workflow with preview. If you missed the meeting, you can find a recording here.
Table Shaper will be the subject of a handful of small customer sessions at the Discovery JMP Lab where the customer will work through a JMP Lab exercise with Stephanie, Ernest, and Mandy present. They’ll be encouraged to think out loud and provide feedback as they go through the exercise. If you know a customer who you think would be particularly well suited to providing good feedback on this tool, please let Stephanie know by filling out this survey.
Thanks to Tonya for sending the details last week about Beta/Crash/Telemetry tracks. She is out today so I’ll share them here. Beta/Crash/Telemetry tracks for the week of 9/3/2021 | JMP Live (sas.com)
