Information Request - JMP for Nano Science/Nano technologyHi Team,
I have an upcoming opportunity to do a demo for a Nanoscience engineering department of an academic institution. I am planning to take them through engineering capabilities of JMP and an extended demo on DOE. (they want to see DOE).
Request:
1. any specific case study or dataset related to Nanoscience?
2. Any customer success stories?
3. Any specific capability of JMP which would be highly important to Nano Technology?
Kindly share your inputs and thoughts
Thanks
Murali
Re: Information Request - JMP for Nano Science/Nano technologyHi @Muralidhara ,
Nanoscience can mean lots of different things. A lot of semiconductor engineering could be considered nanoscience, in which case we have many customer success stories and demo case studies. But I suspect that "nanoscience" might have a different meaning for the department that you are talking to.
I can't think of any reason why any capabilities in JMP would be particularly relevant to nanoscience engineering. If they have asked for you to present on Design of Experiments, I suggest that you focus on that. Hopefully you will have the chance to find out from them what kinds of experiments they are doing so that you can find out which of our demo case studies would be relevant.
You can generally find published examples of designed experiments for any technology area by googling "design of experiments" "[application]". For example, "design of experiments" "graphene" returns various articles about using DOE to understand chemical vapour deposition processes for making graphene.
I hope that is helpful,
Phil
Re: Information Request - JMP for Nano Science/Nano technologyThanks a lot @ Phil_Kay
I did gave a demo to the department of Nano Science and used DOE as a main weapon. it went really well. The college name is Indian Institute of Science (the top Institute in India) and the department was Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE).
Thanks a lot for your inputs and advice. it did helped me to plan better.
hopefully we onboard JMP to that department soon
thanks
