Robin Moran met Casey Volino at Discovery and he is interested in starting his own internal JMP user group. We talked today on the phone in more detail about the support JMP can provide, best practices for how other groups got started, etc. He is envisioning a group (with a large percentage being more novice users) that meets on a regular basis (possibly do lunch ‘n’ learn meetings) and have agenda topics for novice users and other topics for the more advanced JMP users.
The next steps are to have a planning call with several other contacts at Corning that Casey thinks might make good additions to the leadership team. This is tentatively scheduled for the week of Oct. 19th. Dan Durkin and David Schultz will be invited to join this call.
