Hello,
Can I check is there any way for JMP to plot a Polar plot? angular axis

Thank you

You will need a graphics script for this. For example:
NamesDefaultToHere(1);
n = 10;
x = J(n, 1, RandomUniform(-1, 1));
y = J(n, 1, RandomUniform(-1, 1));
NewWindow("Polar Plot",
GraphBox(
// Properties
XScale(-1, 1), YScale(-1, 1), FrameSize(600, 600), SuppressAxes(1),
// Graphics Script for axes
PenColor("Gray");
radius = Transpose(Index(0, 1, 1/n));
For(r=1, r<=n, r++, Circle({0, 0}, radius[r+1]));
HLine(-1, 1, 0);
VLine(0, -1, 1);
// Points and lines
PenColor("Blue");
Marker(MarkerState(1), x, y );
For(r=1, r<=n, r++, Line({0,0}, {x[r], y[r]}));
);
);
This could be made more pretty, and more interactive.
Thank you Ian.
This is a use case from motor designing, the engineer wants to use the dynamic graph, like graph builder, to visualize the result and provide some analaysis (not very sure what analysis
) will ask the user to post in the community for more ideas
