Saving value in specific location of JMP table to specific location of excelHi,
This is a question related to saving some values of JMP table to excel.
For example, there is JMP table like below.
I'd like to save the values of the 3rd and 4th rows of the 4th column to a specific location in excel.

For example, I’d like to save in the second and third rows (yellow parts) of the second column (B) of the Excel file.
My concern is ‘saving in specific location(column, row) of excel'.

Could this process be automated using JMP script ?
Thanks in advance
Ikju
Re: Saving value in specific location of JMP table to specific location of excelHi,
I’d like to share this situation in more detail.
Many customers have many kinds of Excel standard format for data analysis and statistics.
In my experience, it seems that there are a lot of SPC related standard formats such as MSA, control chart, and capability analysis. They want to import data in Excel (or CSV) standard format into JMP, After analyzing it, and then export the analysis result back to Excel standard format.
The important thing is to export the JMP analysis results to a specific (column and row they want) location in the Excel sheet.

Many colleagues said VBA Code for this.
If so, I don't know if this has gone too far from the point of view of JMP.
Thanks
Re: Saving value in specific location of JMP table to specific location of excelHi Ikju,
The only way I can think of is to create a matrix of empty values of the size you need it to be to fill the rows before you want the values to appear in Excel. Then extract the specific values of the JMP table into a matrix and concatenate the matrices. (Or put the values at the position of the matrix, what seems more natural for you in a script.
Now make a data table of this matrix, the values should appear where you want them to be in an Excel Spreadsheet. Then save it out to Excel.
The downside is that you will not get it into an existing Excel sheet at a certain position but a new sheet.
If JMP would be able to interpret ActiveX (which it doesn't) we would be able to create a connection o the spreadsheet and provide explicit fields for the values to be entered.
May some of the more mature scripters know more?
