Great Sharing Continues After the Shanghai Special Segment of Discovery Summit China
Two weeks after Discovery Summit China Special Segment, the online component began on Thursday, July 8 with a plenary talk, and it ended on Saturday, July 10 with a demo on JMP Reliability Platforms. Between those sessions were paper presentations from high technology and manufacturing accounts and JMP global employees. Attendees discovered new trends and insights in analytics, learned new techniques, and created new connections during the three days of outstanding talks.
“Our commitment is to facilitate great conversations around quality and innovation, designing efficient experiments, speeding up manufacturing, growing statistical literacy and more,” said John Sall, Co-founder and Executive Vice President of SAS, in a welcome video.
Running from 13:30-15:30 China Standard Time each day, Discovery Summit China Online featured enlightening keynote, simu-live papers presentations, and feedback opportunities. Curated content including case studies from Unisoc, Shougang Group, AT&S China, NXP Tianjin, L’Oréal, and Kostal and instructive demonstrations from JMP, focused on digital transformation, R&D efficiency, and intelligent manufacturing.
We saw more and more outstanding enterprises have joined our community of JMP users and the successes they are achieving with JMP. “We really love seeing you use statistics for your science, for your research, and for the next phase of engineering. Together, we can do great things,” said John Sall.
Around 580 people registered to the online event, of which about 370 attended the live sessions. Early review of attendee evaluations has been positive and feedback from attendees raved about the papers content.
Over the course of the Covid-19 pandemic, we’ve found new ways to communicate, to share and to learn. This Discovery Summit is proof of that. Discovery Summit China 2021 is our first hybrid event. The Special Segment of Discovery was held in Shanghai on June 24, where VIP users and prospects from across the area near Shanghai gathered for one-day of curated content. The online Discovery catered to users across China who could not have traveled to meet in person.
So much has changed, but the goal of Discovery Summit remains the same: to spread the use and impact of JMP.
