Curve data typically comes in from an instrument or a sensor, and your supplementary variables are in a separate table. Could there be a function in FDE to load the supplementary variables from the separate table? This would save the step of having to join these tables. Additionally, if the curve data is tall, the joined table would have a lot of repeated information.
