Fit Parametric Survival, scale effects

Hi all,

I'm relatively new to the Fit Parametric Survival platform and I was wondering if you had an example/table where a variable was added to the scale effects tab instead of just the location effects tab? Also, one where there were multiple in the location effects tab instead of just 1?

Take a look at "VA Lung Cancer.jmp" in the sample data folder under Reliability sub-folder.

Run the embedded "Fit Parametric Survival" script. It is an example showing multiple explanatory variables in the location effects.

Now "Relaunch Analysis". Add "Cell Type" column to the scale effects list. Run it and look at the results, it is significant. This is an example that the scale can (maybe should) be further modeled.
