Volcano plot and dot plot showing absolute risk and relative risk with CIsHello
I am using jmp 15.0 and have some clinical data on adverse events (see fictive data in the attachment). Unfortunately I don´t have jmp clinical and therefore probably have to run an extra mile...
I would like to create with jmp 15.0 a volcano plot and a dot plot showing absolute risks, RR and CIs. I red the jmp explanation on how to create a volcano plot (https://community.jmp.com/t5/Scott-Wise-s-Blog/How-to-Build-a-Volcano-Plot-in-JMP/ba-p/36490) using "response screening" in the "analysis platform" but I struggle to transfer the needed data structure enabling me to analyze the data .
Also I did not found in this jmp version an easy way to produce a dot plot showing absolute risks, RR and CIs. I know jmp clinical can all do this in a more automated way but guess with some efforts I can do that also in jmp 15.0?
I would be very happy to get support on this.
Thank you very much in advance and have a great day and weekend!
AnalyticsRe: Volcano plot and dot plot showing absolute risk and relative risk with CIsThe sample data you provided is summary data. Do you have the raw data that can be used to calculate the statistics from?Re: Volcano plot and dot plot showing absolute risk and relative risk with CIsI attach the anonymized raw data i.e. File "Subset of adae raw data for jmp query" (data structure: one AE per row, only subjects with AEs are in this file listed ) and File "Subset of adsl raw data for jmp query" containing a list of all subjects with and without adverse events (whole study population).
In the end I would like to create a volcano plat and and dot plot like in figure 4 of the publication as linked here (https://trialsjournal.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s13063-020-04903-0).
Many thanks for giving me advise and directing me in the right direction.
Note: the previous file was only an excerpt and had not the same basis. In addition I anonymized the data here.
