June is Pride Month around the world, a time when the LGBTQ+ communities come together and celebrate the freedom to be themselves. It’s also a time to reflect on the struggle, violence and social injustice individuals in the Pride community have faced and celebrate progress made toward making the world more inclusive and equitable.
As highlighted in an earlier Inside JMP story, What JMP is Doing for Pride Month, we invited anyone at JMP who celebrates Pride Month to record a short video explaining what Pride means to them or to take a picture of themselves holding a sign with one word that sums it up.
Several JMPers have taken part in the effort and we’ve begun to post these pictures to JMP’s Instagram account. But, there’s still time for you to contribute!
Please email your video or picture to Ria, Kevin or Arati if you’d like to participate. You could be featured in a future post.
In the meantime, here are some of the submissions we’re received so far.
Enjoy and Happy Pride Month!

Thanks, @Larry_LaRusso for writing a follow-up about Pride Month! it's so fun to see all the creative and lovely responses to the question "What does pride mean to you?"
I would love for anyone at JMP or SAS who has an Instagram account to give a Like to our Pride posts and/or leave a comment there!
