Equivalence Tests for Proportions

Hi folks,

Has anyone heard customers request equivalence tests for proportions? For example, equivalence tests for two proportions, ratios of proportions, or odds ratios?

I vaguely recall the statisticians in Regeneron's manufacturing arm asking about it a while back... but that's the only time that comes to mind.
