Sales Highlights
PCC Structurals (08 Jun 2021 – US Pacific Northwest)
PCC Structurals, the world leader in superalloy, aluminum and titanium investment casting used in jet aircraft engines, industrial gas turbine engines and medical prothesis, recently added 22 JMP licenses to bring its total to 53.
And it all happened because of STIPS. Frank Moser says, “PCC Structurals has adopted STIPS for internal training at facilities in the US and France.”
Juliette Plager adds, “The power of STIPS! PCC nearly doubled its license count as it rolls STIPS out as the cornerstone of its engineering development program. Amazing! Big thanks to Mia Stephens, the STIPS team and SAS Education.”

Salcomp Technology Co (Shenzhen) (12 May 2021 – China South)
Salcomp Technology Co (Shenzhen), a leader in smart phone chargers, recently added three JMP licenses, bringing its total to 15.
Salcomp has benefited from the visualization ability of JMP but was not using JMP to its fullest extent. Xiang He says, “Salcomp was looking for an effective way to analyze multifactors for process and non-normal process capability. After we provided a targeted demo that focused on SPC, the quality department decided to apply JMP to these types of projects."
In addition, the R&D department was very interested in DOE, particularly when starting a new product project. R&D wanted a way to save time and resources on experiments. "After discovering that JMP could help, they decided to cultivate some users within the R&D department. We expect Salcomp to expand its use of JMP for future data analysis projects," Xiang concludes.
