"Hi" to those of who present Mastering sessions, especially in US and EU/UK.
I am helping Arati u @arati_mejdal with some JMP Public oversight because I follow JMP Public and often tweet JMP Tips posts (when they include the data) .
As part of my new responsibility, Arati has suggested that I ask the SEs to post a graph related to their upcoming Mastering topic before (perhaps two weeks before) the Mastering session, linking to the registration page. Arati or I will feature it and build the link.
Why?
- To promote JMP Public/Live and drive people to sign up for Mastering JMP. In the US, we are already getting hundreds of registrants, but this will allow us to possibly reach a different set of users.
- To enable us to share high-quality, relevant, interactive analyses and visualizations and data for users widely on social media
- To help establish Mastering JMP presenters as experts.
Then, after the session, I will change the details and link to the on-demand video and JMP Journal in the Learn JMP Mastering JMP area of the Community.
I ran this by Chuck @chuck_boiler and Mary @MaryLoveless because I know your teams are stretched to the limit and they approved asking you. Obviously it would be optional and I would be here to assist. For example:
https://public.jmp.com/packages/drFGxD6pGs36ztD1vpcSl#details
https://public.jmp.com/packages/xBK4Gw5wlCWwX7pB1lg1S#details
And, for some sessions (like Jerry's @JerryFish recent Sample Size Explorer Mastering session), publishing to JMP Public doesn't make sense.
Since informally starting this, we have learned some info that is useful about JMP Live, like Jian @jiancao uncovering an issues with Time Series Forecasting, which is now a defect that Development is aware of.
I am also glad to use your Journals and run some reports if needed.
Thoughts are welcome.
