Support Multithreading in JSL

Allow for parallel computing or map function to speed up the addin runs.

As noted above, we have some support that appears to be sufficient for this request. We are unlikely to add thread support directly to JSL.

Using JMP's built-in platforms is the best way to take advantage of multi-threading. We would need more information about exactly what you're looking for here.

 

There is a Parallel Assign() function that can farm out simple JSL oprations to multiple threads. You'll see more about that in response to the Multithreading in JSL item in the main JMP Wish List. 

 

It's unlikely that we'll expose thread creation and reconcillation constructs in JSL since the programming expertise required to use them would exceed that of most of users and would be very expensive for us to develop in a safe and robust way.
