Issue with control charts and data tables with columns with different amount of data in themI have a customer who is monitoring a process with several control charts. Different monitors have different frequency of data collected. His data starts out as stacked data. When the data is split, the columns have different number of values. The number of rows is set by the data with the most number of values. Other parameters have missing values to fill out the table. See below for a screen shot of the data table.
When generating control charts, the charts are bunched up on the left side with a lot of blank area. Is there a way to avoid this? See below for a screen shot of the control chart.
The control chart looks like this:

The table looks like this:

Re: Issue with control charts and data tables with columns with different amount of data in themHow about hide/exclude the missing rows, then turn off the "Show excluded region" red triangle option? This would have to be toggled when doing control charts on different columns.
The original stacked format might work better with a "By" variable to generate multiple control charts.
Re: Issue with control charts and data tables with columns with different amount of data in themUnfortunately, the customer wants limit lines on the charts (so stacked data doesn't work) and to use column switcher which wouldn't work with hide&exclude.
