Issues with Machine Learning Semiconductor Add-inThis is more or less a watch out message. If you the "Machine Learning Semiconductor" add-in installed and enabled you may want to disable it at the least. It is a true RAM hog and when you launch JMP it slows things down dramatically.
My personal issue with the add-in is that I uninstalled JMP Pro 15 and reinstalled it.....bad idea it turns out. When I tried to launch 15 the initial screen would come up, but then it would just continue to spin up without actually opening fully.
I worked with Bob Hickey and John Schroedl for about an hour and they helped identify that there was an add-in that was chewing up all of my RAM. I did some investigation and found that it was the aforementioned add-in. So, buyer beware and be careful about using that add-in or at least leaving it enabled all the time.
Best,
Bill
Re: Issues with Machine Learning Semiconductor Add-inI can't find an add-in with that name in the File Exchange, @bill_worley.
Is it there and I've missed it?
Re: Issues with Machine Learning Semiconductor Add-inHey Bill, It has been reworked, so it is not so much of a RAM hog it now works. This was developed for a Micron seminar. I would not install this yet as it is still under development and will be improved before it is shared to the masses.
