pushing data from excel to JMP

Why doesn't JMP recognize Column Labels when pushing data from excel to JMP ? am i missing a step?

Background: i'm working in excel and pushed the excel file via the JMP addin. when the Data table opens up, it doesn't transfer the column label(row 1 of excel file) to the data table.

The JMP add-in for Excel allows you to define the layout before pushing. Click the left-most button in the JMP ribbon after selecting the entire table to be pushed, inlcuding the label row.
