Lake Shore Cryotronics (03 Mar 2021 – US Ohio Valley)
Lake Shore Cryotronics, a global innovator in the measurement and control solutions industry, recently added three JMP Pro licenses.
Product development and quality groups at Lake Shore have been using JMP for several years and evaluated JMP Pro in the spring of 2020. Matt Boron says, “After the evaluation, Lake Shore’s management still wasn’t sold on the value that JMP Pro could bring to the company. Ultimately, Lake Shore decided not to purchase it. However, the Ohio Valley team continued to reach out to users there and made sure to invite them to various JMP webinars that pertained to Lake Shore’s use cases.”
In early 2021, the Ohio Valley team conducted a series of webinars that focused on analyzing curve data and how the Functional Data Explorer in JMP Pro helps companies make better use of this type of data. Five of Lake Shore’s JMP users attended all three of the curve data webinars. “Within a couple weeks of the final webinar, we received an email from one of the users asking for a quote for three JMP Pro licenses. Now that they were better armed with even more use cases for JMP Pro, the users at Lake Shore were able to demonstrate its value to management. The new request to purchase JMP Pro was approved. We see additional opportunity to sell even more JMP Pro licenses to this customer in the coming months,” says Matt.
