Sales Highlights
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (23 Dec 2020 – US New York)
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, a leading biotechnology company and longtime JMP customer, recently added a JMP Live server for up to 100 users.
Regeneron had been using a series of ad-hoc methods to manage and present data in a manufacturing environment but was looking for a way to facilitate collaboration and education initiatives at its Rensselaer, NY, manufacturing location.
Mike Anderson says, “The statistics group at the Rensselaer location championed the adoption of JMP Live as a new solution to the existing problems of how to collaborate and document analyses, plus as a way to facilitate educating new hires. Since we had been using JMP Live in some capacity in almost every interaction with Regeneron, we demonstrated how easy it was to share demo results in near-real time. By using JMP Live with them, it helped them become aware of the product’s capabilities without creating a formal sales situation.”
- Product: JMP Live server
- Amount: $53,400
- Integral Players: Mike Anderson, Tracey Bailey, Brendan Leary, Dieter Pisot, Dan Valente
Bluepharma (13 Apr 2021 – Other Europe & Africa)
Bluepharma, the Portuguese pharmaceutical company that produces and analyzes over 2 billion oral tablets a year, recently added six JMP licenses, bringing its total to 30.
Andrew Beattie and Mahmoud Hammoud stayed in touch with an internal champion following her participation in a Statistically Speaking webinar. Andrew says, “During these conversations, we discovered that Bluepharma didn’t have enough licenses for the number of people in R&D who were using it, since they were simply sharing computers.”
To keep from tarnishing relations with the company’s senior management, Andrew and Mahmoud instead reached out to Bluepharma’s IT department, who were quick to respond to correct the situation. Andrew concludes, “This engagement with the IT department not only led to an instant increase of six users, but to IT defining a project to upgrade their servers and replace all 30 users with a new server-based agreement in early 2022.”
- Product: JMP
- Amount: $6,373
- Integral Players: Andrew Beattie, Mahmoud Hammoud
