Is there anyway I can input a data table containing count sums into JMP and have the software recognize it as such. For example, here is my data table, showing that 5 people ranked sample 842 as 'Like Extremely', 15 people ranked 842 'Like Very Much', etc.:
| Rank | 842 | 357 | 159 | 763 |
| Like Extremely | 5 | 5 | 5 | 4 |
| Like Very Much | 15 | 7 | 9 | 13 |
| Like Moderately | 10 | 13 | 18 | 10 |
| Like Slightly | 6 | 2 | 1 | 5 |
| Neither Like nor Dislike | 2 | 4 | 4 | 2 |
| Dislike Slightly | 2 | 4 | 1 | 3 |
| Dislike Moderately | 0 | 2 | 1 | 1 |
| Dislike Very Much | 0 | 2 | 0 | 1 |
| Dislike Extremely | 0 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
Can I code or specify in JMP that these are sums for rank by sample number to run ANOVA on the data or do I need to rewrite all the data as follows to run ANOVA (The example below is just for sample 842, just tried to keep it short for the discussion)?
| Rank | Sample | Count |
| Like Extremely | 842 | 5 |
| Like Very Much | 842 | 15 |
| Like Moderately | 842 | 10 |
| Like Slightly | 842 | 6 |
| Neither Like nor Dislike | 842 | 2 |
| Dislike Slightly | 842 | 2 |
| Dislike Moderately | 842 | 0 |
| Dislike Very Much | 842 | 0 |
| Dislike Extremely | 842 | 0 |
It seems like there would be an easy solution, but I haven't found any solution on JMP Help. Anyone know the solution or if there is one? Thanks.
