Alert when web links imbedded in Journals or TablesHi everyone,
I had an experience recently with a customer involving a Journal sent to them via email. When they opened the hournal, they first saw this alert:

Clicking OK cause any link in a journal button to appear like this:

This also caused problems for tables imbedded in the journal, if there was a link within the table variable (as was the case with many tables in the Sample Data Library).
I was able to get around this issue by simply deleting all of the links, but I am wondering if anyone else has come across this. I'm also wondering if we can expect this to happen more as IT security measures increase over time.
Best regards,
Hadley
Re: Alert when web links imbedded in Journals or TablesHi Hadley,
It looks like you created the journal in JMP15.2.1 and then the customer has opened it in JMP15.0.0.
I can't remember any specifics but I know that I have had problems opening journals in older versions. I don't remember ever seeing this specific problem though.
Of course, there is also a good change that this was a bug in the .0 version that was fixed in the .1 or .2 versions.
Cheers,
Phil
Re: Alert when web links imbedded in Journals or TablesCan you post the journal that you sent?
