Alert when web links imbedded in Journals or Tables

Hi everyone,

I had an experience recently with a customer involving a Journal sent to them via email.  When they opened the hournal, they first saw this alert:

Clicking OK cause any link in a journal button to appear like this:

This also caused problems for tables imbedded in the journal, if there was a link within the table variable (as was the case with many tables in the Sample Data Library).

I was able to get around this issue by simply deleting all of the links, but I am wondering if anyone else has come across this.  I'm also wondering if we can expect this to happen more as IT security measures increase over time.

Thanks. I think you were probably correct and this was triggered by a security program modifying the journal.  I am not sure if we will see more problems like this, but it is a possibility.  We can look into hiding links in journals, but that would create a backwards compatibility problem.  This particular program looked like it stopped changing the journal when it got to a space character so we might be able to at least make it easier for programs to at least correctly modify our journals by putting in spaces.
