Fushineng Electronics (Kunshan) Co., Ltd (01 Mar 2021 – East China T2)
Fushineng Electronics, which produces double-sided flexible circuit boards, recently purchased five JMP licenses for its Quality Department.
Yuting Shi contacted a quality engineer there last year and found out that Fushineng used Minitab for quality data analysis and to run weekly reports for customers. Yuting took the opportunity to introduce the department to the advantages of using JMP for quality control analysis, such as SPC, MSA and DOE. Yuting says, “I showed them JMP’s visualization and interactivity, specifically Prediction Profiler in DOE, and I invited them to attend our webinar.”
As a result, engineers at Fushineng tried JMP for some of their daily analysis. Yuting says, “Their boss was surprised to see some unprecedented data reports and wanted to know more about JMP. I provided some success stories and learning videos for them. They decided to purchase five JMP licenses as a start. If it works well, all Minitab licenses will be replaced in the future.
“They will continue to participate in our online activities to learn more JMP tips, from techniques for quality data management and experimental design to objectively quantifying various quality parameters for better product quality control. In the future, we plan on providing online technology question-and-answer activities to help them make better use of JMP.”

TOK Taiwan (31 Dec 2020 – HMT T2)
TOK Taiwan, which provides chemicals for semiconductor and LCD processes, acquired five JMP licenses.
Jess Chen says, “TOK was looking for ways to create more competitive advantages in the semiconductor and LCD material industries by reducing costs and meeting customers’ requirements better. After consulting engineers in TOK’s Quality Assurance Department, Tyson and I discovered that they wasted time on analyzing data with Excel. Moreover, they sometimes came to erroneous conclusions by using Excel VBA incorrectly. Tyson demonstrated how data importing, profile manipulation, control charts, JSL and report generation in JMP could empower them. As a result, they purchased five licenses for the Quality Assurance Department. We plan to stay in touch and provide them more details as they begin using JMP.”
