Changing jobs in the middle of pandemic can be hard, but not for Inside Sales Account Representative Pohan Lee. In August, Pohan joined JMP and jumped right in, making a difference for his clients and leaving a strong first impression on his colleagues as well. Luckily he loves coffee and has energy that knows no bounds. Earlier this year he attended Virtual JMP Academy – he’s on the far right, middle row – and his fellow academy members learned those facts first hand. Now you get to learn a little more about Pohan too. Lucky You!
Where were you born?
Taipei, Taiwan.
What was your first job?
In high school I helped my cousins practice their English speaking and grammar for pocket money. It was a lot of fun and I was glad they improved by a lot.
In one word, what's the best thing about your current job?
Dual-monitor!
List three of your favorite hobbies.
Photography, jogging and badminton

Hyper, laid-back, and self-contradictive
What book are you reading?
“The Death and Life of Great American Cities” written by Jane Jacobs. It’s known as a must read in the academic world of city planning. For me, it’s fun to read about the history and developments of metropolitans like Chicago and New York.
What is your favorite movie genre?
Comedy
What is the first web page you go to when you start work?
Salesforce.
If you could have a dinner party with five famous people, who would they be?
Elon Musk, Marie Curie, Adam Smith, Mao, Ghandi
What is your favorite podcast to listen to?
The Sales Evangelist by Donald C. Kelly.

Name one thing most of your colleagues would be surprised to know.
I drink on average four cups of coffee a day. I always bring a thermal jug with me but no one realized it’s always filled with coffee.
Name one other person in the division who you admire, and describe why in three sentences or fewer.
I admire our Marketing Manager Gina the most, for her diligence at work, her thoughtful kindness for her colleagues and her passion about JMP day events!

Pohan enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and long runs along the riverside.
Pohan is passionate about visiting historical sites, such as this 400 year old cypress three in the Forbidden Palace in Beijing ; fun fact:: one of the characters in his Chinese name, “Po”, translates to “cypress” in English.
Pohan has always considered himself a dog person, but he's slowly turning into a cat lover too.
Pohan loves his coffee and claims he "can't live without it!"
