STDF and Apache Parquet

Hi

While promoting JMP16, I got some questions from several customer but it's not clear what I know, so I ask to SE Discussions

1. I remembered that STDF could be imported in JMP17. Is this right ?

2. Some customers asked that JMP could import Apache Parquet data format.

    I uploaded this in internal wish list

And also, Please let me know any ideas that could be import STDF and Apache Parquet data in current JMP(15 or 16 Version)

For binary STDF files you can use this (paid) add-in from SprySoftware.

 

Ooops! I see you already mentioned this - Sorry.

 

I think this came along about the time of JMP 7, and I don't think it's version dependent. But, 'no' it's not multi threaded and I imagine that providing this would need work from Chris (the developer) and from us. If multi-threading is a a requirement, be sure to mention this in the internal wish list.

Hi Ian,

STDF Data size is usually several gigabytes to tens of gigabytes, so I think Multi-threading support is needed.
