Online or in-person, the goal of every Discovery Summit is to spread the use and impact of JMP. We believe we can do that by showcasing best practices in data exploration, by introducing people to cutting edge statistical techniques, and by inspiring people to think about analytics in newer and bigger ways.
We can’t meet those goals with keynotes and Ask the Expert sessions alone. Papers and posters are an important part of every Discovery, and we are in dire need of quality content submissions for the Americas and China events.
We need your help if you know a JMP user who...
- has had an ah-ha moment when they found something surprising in their data
- made a discovery that saved their organization a lot of time and/or money
- worked across divisions or organizations to identify and fix a problem
- is proud of the impact their work has had on their company or organization
- used JMP graphs to communicate findings to other people...and then make changes based on those findings
- worked with data that is especially interesting
- can talk about a failed effort to change minds with data – lesson-learned kind of thing
- uses JMP to analyze data to help the environment or in some other altruistic way
- uses JMP to analyze data that is different, interesting, colorful, strange, etc.
- works at the kind of company people want to hear from or learn about
- has a different perspective from our most common speakers, for instance in the US, most are middle-age white men. Do you know JMP users who look and/or act differently? Diversity is a beautiful thing, and we need more of it.

If you do, ask them to consider submitting an abstract for consideration. It’s a quick and relatively painless process. But time is running out for both Americas and China events.
