JMPy to support Discovery Summit Shanghai
While the rest of the JMP world continues to create online events, it’s pretty much business as usual in many parts of China. That includes Shanghai, the site of the next event in the Discovery Summit series. “People are back to work and as busy as usual,” says Bryan Yan, VP of Sales for the APXJ region for JMP. The team is so certain that COVID-19 is under control in their area that they will be welcoming JMP users to an in-person Discovery Summit in June. No joke. But one very important thing will be missing from the Shanghai event: Support from JMP R&D.
While working through staffing details, Gina Xie and Janice LeBeau decided JMPy the Space Squirrel should put in an appearance in Shanghai. “Through osmosis, he knows the ins and outs of JMP 16, he’s never run a fever, he can’t be contagious and he’s comfortable with traveling to new places,” says LeBeau. “The only problem is finding a mask that will fit his oversized head properly.”

Re: JMPy to support Discovery Summit ShanghaiGreat idea for the helmet, Gina. It JMPy is wearing that, no mask is needed! Also, we need to get a Chinese flag patch sewn on his space suit.
Re: JMPy to support Discovery Summit ShanghaiI'll get my sewing machine out and get JMPy ready for Discovery!
