Thanks for this helpful article! Happy JMP 16 Launch Day!
Hooray! Thanks for the hard work all around to get it ready and build the excitement. #bestlaunchever
On March 23, JMP released JMP 16, our newest versions of JMP, JMP Live and JMP Pro 16. The new version builds on what is already widely considered the data analysis tool of choice for hundreds of thousands of scientists, engineers, and other data explorers around the world.
Though there’s a lot to be excited about with JMP16, we’re highlighting four particularly impressive capabilities that connect JMP users to the product in new and productive ways. Our New in JMP 16 page highlights these features, in particular, the Action Recorder; Model Screening (in JMP Pro); Term Selection and Sentiment Analysis (in JMP Pro) and Control Chart Warnings (in JMP Live). The page also highlights other key features of JMP 16. It is THE BEST place to send your customers and prospects.
March 23 is also the day we’ll make a splash on jmp.com. Our promotions include a new homepage banner and a news story noting JMP 16’s release. You'll also notice that the Buy Now link on jmp.com has switched over to JMP 16, allowing visitors to purchase individual annual licenses and JMP subscriptions directly from the site.
Site administrators can use the link jmp.com/upgrade to request an upgrade to JMP 16 for their site. Site administrators will also receive an email on March 31, 2021 letting them know they can request their upgrade. Also, on March 31, 2021, we’ll send a similar email to existing users, informing (or reminding) them of the release.
Finally, we’ve announced the release of JMP with the world through an official SAS press release. The release can be found in the SAS News Room. You can access the JMP 16 Press Release directly here.

JMP 16 Social Media Items
In addition to the New in JMP 16 page, we’ve created a series of excellent videos highlighting the four new capabilities noted above. The videos are short, engaging 1-2-minute commercials designed to build excitement in these incredible new features. The videos are already active on a newly created JMP 16 YouTube playlist and will be added to the New in JMP 16 page soon. Though recorded in English, subtitles will be added for all eight languages supported by jmp.com websites. (Simply click the "cc" to select subtitles in your preferred language.) Feel free to share these videos on your social media channels.
We’ve also created a series of JMP 16 blogs to build awareness within our existing user base (to move them to upgrade) and drive interest from prospective/future users. Blogs highlight new features or enhancements and are great resources to share with your social media contacts.
You can find links to the blogs, videos, social media images, email signatures and more on the JMP 16 Social Media page.
