I don't know if JMP is capable of performing a Generalized Linear Mixed Model analysis, with individual ID as a random effect plus several fixed effects. If this is possible in JMP 9 for Mac OS X, can you please explain step-by-step how I perform the analysis and assign variables as fixed or random effects? I am also not sure how to interpret the output. Finally, I see several published papers that produce graphs using estimates generated by GLMs as opposed to the original data themselves. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this?
Thank you.
