Every year for as long as I can remember, John Sall donates to WUNC, a North Carolina Public Radio Station, during its spring fundraiser. And, like every year, John matches donations made by SAS employees. It's one of the rituals of spring, like daffodils popping up out of the North Carolina soil, and pollen coating everything at SAS World Headquarters and beyond.
"WUNC is a trusted source of objective and transformational content reflecting our region and expanding our collective understanding of the global community," reads the radio station's Vision Statement. "North Carolina Public Radio strives to influence public life by focusing on civic and cultural issues. WUNC creates original programming that reflects the diversity and range of opinion in North Carolina. Our goal is to be connected with the community. The station provides consistently high quality public service programming presented with integrity."
Details for Donating:
On Friday, March 19 beginning at 7 AM EST, John and Ginger Sall will match SAS employee's donations. That means that if I donate $50, the Salls will donate $50. They will do that for all of the donations made by SAS employees during the fundraiser.
Whether you donate by calling 1-800-962-9862 or contributing online at www.wunc.org, be sure to note that you are a SAS employee.
If you are a current Sustainer -- like many JMP and SAS employees are -- and would like to get your donation matched, please email Regina Yeager at ryeager@wunc.org
