How to: Edit a postTo edit published posts:
- View the post.
- Click the red triangle.
- Select "Edit message" (or "Edit article" or "Edit idea"):
- Make updates and click Publish.
NOTE! There are several factors that make it easier to read and find a post. When editing a post, please check the following to make Community posts even more effective immediately and over time:
- Title wording. Does the title match the description of the problem? Does the title contain the appropriate keywords so others can find it?
- Formatted JSL code. If the post contains JSL code, it should be contained within a JSL code block. This will allow the code to be properly formatted and prevent it from being translated.
- Inline images. It is easier to read a post if the image is embedded within the post rather than as an attachment.
- Labels. Labels help categorize content so that users can find content by subject. Click the appropriate label to get posts into the best content grouping.
