Discovery Summit Europe concluded last week and by all accounts it was an incredible event. Attendees discovered new trends and insights in analytics, learned new techniques, created new connections and even had a little fun during a week full of outstanding talks and activities.
Early review of attendee evaluations have been overwhelmingly positive and feedback from the European Steering Committee raved about everything from the Virtual Conference Center to the incredible opportunities provided to network with JMP developers, staff and fellow attendees.
While all the excellent qualitative feedback suggested a memorable event for all, a closer examination of Julian Parris’ Discovery Summit Europe Attendance Dashboards confirms that the event attracted an impressive number of registrants. As he did for Discovery Summit Americas in Fall 2020, Julian put together plenary and session reports for the event and published them in JMP Live for all to view.
Plenary talks were very well attended. The four plenary talks averaged more than 250 attendees, with John Sall’s Thanks for the Memory keynote (331) and Xan Gregg and Evanthia Dimara’s Data Visualization plenary (293) attracting the highest number of attendees. Maybe even more impressive was the fact that the majority of attendees watched the talks in their entirety, with an average view time of around an hour per talk.
Julian also included detailed reports for session talks. Because individuals were not required to identify themselves in sessions, these reports show registered attendees, individuals who “registered” for a particular session in the Hubb.

And don’t forget, all of the outstanding content from Discovery Summit Europe is available in the JMP Community.
