Sanofi Aventis Groupe (22 Feb 2021 – France)
Sanofi, the global health care and pharmaceutical manufacturing company and longtime JMP user, recently implemented a multi-entity contract that will make JMP available to 1,300 users in five countries.
Isabelle Swaenepoel says that this deal took 18 months and help from SAS Legal and JMP Business Operations colleagues to come to fruition. Isabelle says, “Sanofi has been using JMP for 20 years but was interested in applying JMP best practices to develop coaches and schedule user events. In Q3 2019, after several business events, we were successful in defining the value of our tools to the global IT ecosystem at Sanofi, but COVID constraints slowed down the acquisition process.
“After four months of intense negotiation with Sanofi’s Legal and Purchasing departments, we finally succeeded in putting a multi-entity contract in place for hundreds of users in France, US, Canada, Germany and Belgium. With this contract, the JMP team can work more closely with current and potential users, especially now that new users can easily order JMP through Sanofi’s app store.”
Todd Hoffman explains the significance of the deal: “This was a key deal for France and the EMEA region. Many of the EMEA sales teams are off to a great start this year, and this deal accelerated the achievement of our Q1 target. It also sets us up nicely to drive expansion in the years ahead.”
Isabelle concludes, "I would particularly like to thank Carol Gretz and Kate Fitzgerald from JMP Business Operations and Rachel Smith from SAS Legal for all their diligence and hard work that made this deal possible.”
