Automatic Show Filter for column selectionI'd like to request that there be a feature for automatically checking the Show Filter box for all platforms where the column selector box shows up. I find myself doing this virtually every time I select columns.
I'm imagining two different possible implementations. One way could be that the column selector box has logic that notices if there are over a certain threshold of columns (maybe however many fit into its visible window without scrolling) the filter becomes automatically visible. The other way would be to have a preference checkbox that just auto-shows the filter for all column selector boxes. I think the latter is better for my use case since even when I have few columns I might have very long column headers so I use the filter to get the right one by pasting in the column header from my clipboard. Maybe there is a better-yet third implementation, just some ideas.
