The two of them are the writers in the familyHow wonderful to get to feature Landra Cunningham in our Get to Know series! I say that for a three reasons:
- Landra brings great insight and vast experience to every project she works on. But if you don’t get to work closely with her, you might not know how big her impact is on the division.
- She is as reserved and quiet as our most introverted staffers. That means she doesn’t speak up often or loudly. But when she does, you’ll want to listen.
- Landra gives back to the community in a very special way, holding important roles in prominent local organizations: She sits on the NC State Park Scholarships Selection Committee, and is the STC-Carolina Communications Director & Social Media Manager as well as a mentor.
We’re already into March, and this feature wraps up our Black History Month coverage where we focused on some of our division’s Black superstars. But that doesn’t mean we should stop celebrating the world-changing accomplishments of Black scientists, engineers and colleagues. Let’s make a concerted effort to shine a light on underrepresented groups, empower them, and lift them up whenever possible.
For now, please enjoy getting to know Landra Cunningham.

Let us feature you in an upcoming Inside JMP Get to Know feature.
Our InsideJMP Get to Know Feature is designed for JMP employees and division friends to share information about themselves that will help others get to know them better.
If you’re willing to be featured, please go to Diana Levey’s OneDrive folder at https://sasoffice365-my.sharepoint.com/:f:/g/personal/diana_levey_jmp_com/Euub82iMr35BiLNyzcGLiS8Be7... and download a copy of our Get to Know form. Simply fill out the questions and when you’re done, upload it to the folder (or send directly to Larry LaRusso), along with at least three photos of you. Thank you for helping to make our large JMP family just a little more familiar.
