Blog Workflow: How to Author a Post

An overview of the blog workflow can be found in this article: Blog Workflow: Overview 

 

This video demonstrates how to create a blog post from the point of view of the author.

 

To create a post, the author should do the following:

1. Sign in to the Community
2. Select JMP Blogs from the main menu
3. Click the appropriate blog page (e.g. JMP Blog or JMPer Cable)
4. Click the New Blog Post button in the Blog Dashboard
   

    

5. Enter a subject and body

There are two options from which to choose:

1. Save Draft. Choose this option while continuing to make changes before sending to the editor.
2. Submit for Review. Choose this option when the text is ready to be reviewed by the editor.

The create date will show as the date/time the blog was published.

Very nice -- thanks. Is there or will there be better control over the date field? That is, you want to write the post early but want it the date-of-record to sync with some other event.
