The question here is involving two top columns that are both Multiple Response and what happens that removes the “Overlapping Samples, First-order Rao-Scott Chisquare used” when changing the Specify Comparison groups. Also why does the Compare Means show no lettering after the Specify Comparison is changed to make all report columns a single group (A/B/C/D/E/F/G/H/I/J/K/L).
Open MultiResponseTwice.jmp .

A Categorical is run with the two Multiple Response “Color” columns used at the top and “Rating” as the side. (saved as “FavCol-CarCol Specify as 2 grps”)
· The Default Specify Comparison is A/B/C/D/E/F,G/H/I/J/K/L, keeping the two top columns as separate entities.
· The “Overlapping Samples, First-order Rao-Scott Chisquare used” is seen in the Test Response Homogeneity.
· Lettering seems appropriate in the table and for the Means.
