Dear team,
As you may already know, we have put a free DOE workshop in place last year with Chemistry World, Smarter experimentation for chemists , which has been very successful.
This year, we will be holding live versions of this workshop, but have adapted it so:
- that the content has cross-industry interest, for all Scientists and Engineers
- that it is presented in US time or in French
All recordings will be available on the day after each session. And these recordings will remain on the alliances websites for at least one year. We will get registrant list Throughout the year.
The registrants which will have attended all five webinars (live or/and online) will receive a certificate.
Here are the topic:
- Day 1: Introduction to design of experiments What is DoE? From example case studies you will see why this is such an important tool for scientist and engineers.
- Day 2: Factorial experiments Get started making and analysing the simplest experimental designs.
- Day 3: Screening experiments When there are lots of things you could change you need to maximise efficiency in finding the vital few factors.
- Day 4: Response surface experiments See how you can build a rich understanding of complex systems and processes.
- Day 5: DoE guidelines and best practice Tips and guidance to ensure your success in applying DOE in your work.
The programme provides a solid theoretical understanding of design of experiments complemented by hands-on exercises using JMP.
You will find more information hereafter. Feel free to promote it among your contacts and in social media.
Regards,
Carla
