Filter Col Selector usage

I'm trying to use a Filter Col Selector but I can't get it to return the selected value.

 

names default to here(1);

dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Blood Pressure.jmp" );

nw=new window("test", <<MODAL></MODAL>

In this example var1 doesn't return the column name that was selected.

Thanks for any direction on how to use this!

Here is one way to capture the value of the Filter Selector

names default to here(1);

dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Blood Pressure.jmp" );

nw=new window("test", <<MODAL></MODAL>

 The variable zippy contains the selected values
