LafargeHolcim, a global leader in cement, aggregates, concrete and other building solutions, recently acquired JMP Live.
Isabelle Swaenepoel says, “JMP Live is the first step in the definition of Lafarge’s global digitalization program for its Quality Department in France. While Lafarge has had 25 JMP users for several years, the amount of data they collected and their new database were no longer aligned. For the last two years, Florence Kussener has done a fantastic job helping Lafarge define new working methods that will include Query Builder, as well as graphics and dashboards in JMP Live.”
Isabelle and Florence recruited the help of Chris Gotwalt to show Lafarge how to gain a deeper understanding of its cement’s complex process. Isabelle says, “Chris was the best candidate to generate the 'wow' effect, showing Lafarge how to simplify its difficult process with predictive modeling and then summarize it in one graphic. Chris demonstrated how JMP could be a global solution that included JMP, JMP Pro and JMP Live. The head of Lafarge’s Quality Department, Benoit Kessler, was really impressed by the predictive modeling Chris built and was convinced that the power of JMP would help spread a culture of analytics.”
