From user: "In the generalized regression platform it is great that I have advanced options for fitting e.g. time to event data with Weibull distribution. Doing this allows me to get the desired model and in the GLR result platform I can display the results correctly in a Survival Profiler, showing the probabilities of survival as function of the predictors and the anticipated survival time.
What I currently do not understand is why it is not possible to save the equation of the survival probability from the Generalized Regression platform, like it is done by default from the Parametric Survival Platform in JMP? Currently only the prediction formula for the response e.g. in minutes when looking at time to event data (not that useful for survival data) can be saved.
When I want to get the survival probabilities I have to modify the prediction formula manually."
We are working on this in JMP 16.
With the release of JMP 16 you can now save the distribution and survival formulas for models in Generalized Regression. Survival formulas are available only for continuous response distributions.
