Followup to Tuesday's Kickoff Session: All About the Product
Thanks to all who joined the town hall session, for everyone that submitted questions before the session and also during the session. We’ve captured all the questions that came in and the answers that were provided during the town hall by our panel. For those questions that we didn’t get to, we are sharing those back to the development group as well. Here are some resources mentioned during town hall:
- Product Management Library: please bookmark. This is the PM team’s best source of resources, FAQs, pre-recorded and upcoming training and so much more.
- Product Management Updates: please subscribe. (in the red triangle options menu -> subscribe). By subscribing, you will always be the first the know when new resources are available.
- Internal Wish List: Please review. This wishlist is a place for you to post questions, ideas and thoughts for future directions of JMP year-round. You don’t need to wait until next year’s development town hall to start the conversation. And because all of this content is internal, you can discuss your customer’s use-cases, have a conversation with your colleagues and kudo other ideas if you have also run into this suggestion at your customer sites.
- External Wish List: Share with customers. If your customers want to suggest ideas, improvements or new directions for JMP, please send them to the External Wish List on the JMP User Community.
- JMP 17 Planning and EA: Product Management and Development Directors are already underway planning for JMP 17. Before you know it, the JMP 17 Early Adopter program will be open. So please start having conversations with your customers now, positioning the value of the Early Adopter program and how your customers can be part of the JMP development cycle, get their voices heard and provide feedback in an agile and efficient way with our development teams. Talk to your important customers now, build your EA invite list and please be ready to get those customers enrolled when the program opens later this year.

Onboarding Program
- One of our goals this year is to use these training sessions to craft an onboarding plan for new inside sales and AE's to get up and running faster. With so much information for new hires, we wanted to package the best trainings that are ideal for someone to learn in the first 30/60/90 days. We are hoping to create a package that allows new hires to know/show the value of JMP, understand some of the key features of JMP, and know where and how JMP fit within different industries. For each of these trainings we will create exercises, quizzes and resources that will augment what they would learn in the training session.
- This is not something that will be required, but is meant to serve as a resource at this time.
- If you have thoughts/feedback, please let us know - especially if you are new to JMP!
Miss a training session?
- All the training sessions are listed on the training schedule along with links to related resources. For each session we build out a page with the key points to make it easier to go back and review.
STIPS Reminders
While STIPS has been up and running now for over a year, with over 25K enrollments worldwide, occasionally students have questions or encounter issues. If a customer reports issues logging into STIPS, accessing badges, getting into the JMP Virtual Lab, finding data sets in the JMP Virtual Lab, or other related questions, please send them to elearn@sas.com. The technical support team at SAS Education is there to help!
We've had several requests from companies related to integrating STIPS into internal company training or learning management systems. There are several ways that a company might want to integrate STIPS: For example, a company can have students take all or part of the course and report badges, use the Instructor Support resources, request SCORM files to host STIPS internally, or use some or all of the STIPS videos and other content independent of the course. If a customer has questions about integrating STIPS, please reach out to sarah.springer@sas.com. Sarah can provide information on the best option given the expressed needs of the customer.
