JMP Chief Data Scientist @chris_gotwalt1 with Principal Lecturer from the University of New Hampshire @philramsey introduced the Self Validating Ensemble Models (SVEM) technique for analyzing DoEs.  I think Chris says it best "You can get more accurate models with less observations using SVEM".  This is a bridge between Machine Learning and DoE.  I hope you enjoy it.

This is great - clever and promising approach! I see a lot of applications for projects at P&G - especially if the approach is developed further to cover not iid data. I am looking forward to learn more as more research progress is made. Automating this approach will reinforce fitting robust models with small amount of data which would benefit greatly modeling practitioners at P&G.
