Overlaying Heat Map with Contour in Mixture /RSM

Dear Team,

 

Here is a sample graph shared by one of the professors who will be teaching DOE using JMP starting this year. The professor wanted to check whether JMP can create these kind of  mixture profiler.  The other one is the RSM with contour.  I learnt that we do have RSM with Contour. Any thoughts on how can we create these kind of graphs in JMP.

I think these plots are from Design Expert.

I am pretty sure that there is no way to recreate a 3D surface ternary plot with JMP. Those kind of plots are almost never a good way of visualising the model. But I expect the prof will still want to use them because they look impressive.

Agree. Although it is a bit hard to tell from the 3D plot - which backs up my point about these not being very useful.
