Yea Shin Technology (01 Sep 2020 – HMT T1)
Yea Shin Technology, which manufactures and assembles semiconductor and discrete components, recently added one JMP license, becoming a promising customer with high-growth potential.
A high-tech business unit under Diodes Incorporated, which is an existing customer worldwide and a leading global supplier within the semiconductor markets, Yea Shin acquired one license for the Process Department at its Taoyuan factory. Orcas Chen says, “The process engineering team had been using Minitab for its process development, but after Rock Teng, head process engineer, learned about JMP's advantage in interactivity and visualization, he quickly showed interest in adding JMP to his team's daily workflow to improve their current system. With Rock's recommendation, Yea Shin internally recognized JMP's functionality and decided to acquire one license first. After several customer care activities and internal training sessions, Yea Shin anticipates adding more in 2021. The plan is to internally refer JMP across process, quality and R&D departments throughout the year.”
